Another Minimalist Double-storey Modern House for your Inspiration

When you have already a career and an employment and have saved for your next big project, then it is probably the best time to acquire a house, your dream house!  To have your own house is everyone’s ultimate dream. Imagine living in your dream house you can call your  own, you can design the way you want.

But what kind of a house do you want? Do you prefer a big house? Modern or contemporary, modern contemporary or a traditional one? Does it matter with you if you will live in a minimalist home? Where space is reduced into smaller version to accommodate its stuffs?

Well, a comfortable house does not need to be really huge or palatial. As long as your family lives comfortable under a shelter and all the amenities each member needs are present in that house, then, it should be good enough.

The house we are featuring today is a minimalist modern house. Let’s take a look!

It may look small but it actually has all the areas one needs in a house.  The ground floor has a carport, a living room, a dining and a kitchen sharing the floor together, one bathroom, one bedroom, and a staircase leading to the upper floor.

The upper floor has three bedrooms, a living room, two bathrooms, and a veranda. If for some reason, you love this design but want two bedrooms only in the upper floor, you can always remodel it to suit your preferences.

This design can actually be remodeled for two bedrooms only to give more space. But since this is designed as a minimalist double storey, then all available space was used to accommodate more rooms for a big family leading to a medium-sized home with four bedrooms and other areas  to make it complete.

This modern house is estimated to cost around 3.8M – 4M in Philippine peso or that would be around US$76,000 – 80,000. But then again, this is just an estimate.  The total cost of building this house depends on the materials that the owners prefer.

This modern house is considered minimalist because it reduced the space into useful areas.  You can always modify it if you wish.  If you want your ground floor to only have the living room, dining and kitchen, and a bathroom to have more space, then that would be good.
