The house we are featuring today is a bungalow with an impressive frontage! Its spacious open garage with a transparent roof and neatly made trusses or framework add to the attractiveness of this house.  The cross hipped roof is also eye-catching. It makes the house look elegant, however, this style of roof is way more expensive to install than other styles like gable, shed roof or skillion. Let’s check its other specs below.

The garage is designed to house two cars. It may also be used as as a receiving area for guests specially if they prefer to stay outside to enjoy the breeze and the view. As to the materials used, it is obvious that they are quite expensive.  The glass door and windows as well as the wall cladding used added to the costs of the construction.  If you want to save, you can use less expensive materials.

The floor is elevated with 5 steps, a pretty elevation that is proportional to the width of the structure.  If your purpose of elevation is to protect the house from flood water, it is advised that it must be elevated a little higher. One meter elevation is good enough.

To build this house, you would need an initial budget of USD 30,000.  Bringing it to a 80% finished status would require another USD 10,000-15,000 . For a 100% finished state, the rough estimate is around USD 50,000. However, the cost still depends on what kind of materials, finishing, furniture and fixtures that you install in your house.
