Here is another house design that is inspired by a villa. This article says that “villas were luxurious country estates that Roman noblemen would escape to from their day to day lives in the city. They were like wealthy villages—self-sufficient, built on a grand scale, and often with expansive landscaping and vineyards.”
So, for a house to be called a villa it must be larger than single family homes with bedrooms reaching to about twenty, sitting in a large compound with its own garden, vineyard, pools and fountains. But as years passed, its definition evolved as well and now the word means any luxurious home that is expansive and with large compound like the house we are featuring today.
What makes this design very attractive is its classical design. The wooden door crafted beautifully suggests that it is a home owned by an elite family. Not everyone can have a house like this. The intricate design of its exterior and its roof style speaks millions.
